Varicose Vein Pain Relief Cycle

Veins in the body are responsible for carrying deoxygenated blood from various parts of the body back to the heart. These veins contain one-way valves that prevent the backflow of blood. If these valves fail to function properly, blood can flow backward and pool in the veins, leading to swelling. This condition is known as varicose veins.

Varicose veins may result from factors such as pregnancy, congenital weakness, obesity, or prolonged standing. While varicose veins can occur in any part of the body, they are most commonly found in the lower extremities, particularly the legs, where veins must work against gravity to return blood to the heart over a longer distance.

Wearing medical compression stockings and performing the recommended exercises in the following cycle can help reduce varicose vein pain and discomfort.

Detoxification Cycle (Kriya)

This 40-day liver detox program is designed following yogic principles and is divided into two main components:

  1. Morning Detox Drinks: Special beverages consumed immediately upon waking.

  2. Cleansing Movements (Kriya): A series of specific yogic exercises designed to aid in internal purification.

After completing the Kriya exercises each day, a second round of recommended drinks is consumed to support the detox process.

⚠️ Important: This program should only be followed with the guidance of a qualified yoga instructor and after consulting with a medical professional.

Part I: Nutrition

This phase is structured into four 10-day cycles, each with a distinct focus:

First 10 Days

  • Upon Waking: Mix fresh lemon juice into a glass of warm water and drink on an empty stomach.

  • After Kriya Practice: Drink two glasses of fresh orange juice.

Second 10 Days

  • Place 3 whole lemons (unpeeled and uncut) in a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil, then allow it to cool.

  • Once cooled, squeeze the lemons into the same water. Drink this mixture in the morning on an empty stomach.

  • After Kriya Practice: Drink a cup of ginger infusion, followed by two drops of peppermint essential oil mixed into a teaspoon of honey.

Third 10 Days

  • Upon Waking: Drink a mixture of olive oil and fresh lemon juice on an empty stomach.

  • After Kriya Practice: Have a glass of fresh apple juice or beetroot juice.

Final 10 Days

  • Soak 7 dried plums (prunes) overnight. In the morning, eat them on an empty stomach.

  • After Kriya Practice: Drink a cup of cinnamon tea.

Part II: Kriya Movements

Each Kriya movement should be performed daily, with the following rhythm:

  • Repeat each movement 7 times

  • Hold each position for 7 seconds

Anxiety Reduction Cycle

Anxiety is essentially a natural bodily response to stressful situations, often manifesting as emotional tension. However, when this response becomes chronic and begins to negatively influence all aspects of a person’s life, it can evolve into a debilitating condition.

Practicing the exercises in this cycle for 30 minutes daily can help increase the levels of serotonin, a key neurotransmitter associated with well-being and calm. This process promotes a sense of inner peace and helps counteract the damaging physical and emotional effects of anxiety.

This cycle consists of 9 core asanas (yoga postures) and 5 supporting movements. A short session of Shavasana (corpse pose) at the end of the practice is recommended for deep relaxation.

Lower Back Pain Relief Cycle

Lower back pain, medically known as lumbago, is one of the most common musculoskeletal conditions, affecting nearly 80% of people at some point in their lives. This cycle is designed to help relieve muscle tension and strengthen the deep muscles of the lower back.

By regularly practicing this sequence, you support the strengthening of spinal muscles and intervertebral joints, while also promoting gentle stretching in the soft tissues surrounding the lumbar spine. These movements help maintain healthy spacing between vertebrae and contribute to overall spinal health.

Anger-Induced Stress and Tension Reduction Cycle

Practicing the movements in this cycle helps increase the level of beta-endorphins in the bloodstream. Endorphins are natural chemicals released by neurons in the brain, known for their pain-relieving and calming effects. Additionally, the practice enhances blood flow to the head, improving oxygenation and nourishment of brain neurons.

This cycle consists of 4 core asanas and 2 supporting movements, specifically designed to ease physical and emotional tension caused by anger.
